CrossFit programming delivers a fitness regimen that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive.  Combining gymnastics (calisthenics) with multi-joint olympic weightlifting, interval training, and aerobic training, it approaches fitness as a contest against oneself while building community. Workouts are measured by objective criteria like calories, time, weight lifted, repetitions, or force, instead of repetitive "body-part splits."
